Based on Stephen King’s “Colorado Kid”, the story takes place in Maine (why is it always Maine?) Haven is a town of special people who are 'cursed' or blessed with what many call the troubles,
The show begins with the arrival of Audrey Parker (Emily Rose) who was sent by the FBI to retrieve a convict who has escaped to the town. Once she arrives she partners with the local sheriff Nathan Wournos and his helped by his friend a local smuggler Duke Crooker who’s actions are always one shade lighter than legal who’s motives are up in the air.
Personally I love the show because it captures you with it’s craziness, yet leaves you wondering what happened, why this town in particular. Some of these troubles I would love to have, like the ability to control the weather.. some of these shouldn't exist and you can see why they need the sheriff & Audrey I’ll let you watch and figure out which ones I’m talking about.
These cast members are new to me, as I have never seen them as anyone else so I only know them as these characters which is great because then I don't have any preconceived notions about them. I'm itching to find out what happened to Audrey.
